NAX Mountain Run gongur fyri seg í norður Streymoy, har tann vakra, óspilta og serstaka føroyska náttúran er við til at skapa karmarnar um hesa fjallarenning.

NAX Mountain Run er tann perfekta rennikappingin fyri rennaran, ið dámar at renna í haganum, um skørð, um áir og millum steinar, har einki fótafet er eins, og har rennarin veruliga merkir hina frísku lufta súsa um oyruni.

Runnið verður m.a. eftir gomlu bygdagøtuni millum Hvalvík og Vestmanna. Ávegis á túrinum er útsýni yvir vestursíðuna á Streymoynni og vestur í hav og út yvir tað fjartliggjandi økið norði í Dølum. Teir síðstu kilometrarnir á mál verða runnir gjøgnum Saksunardal, ið er longsti dalur í Føroyum.

NAX Mountain Run will take place in the northern part of Streymoy, where the beautiful, unspoiled and unique Faroese nature creates the perfect surroundings for a mountain run.
NAX Mountain Run is the perfect running match for runners loving to run in the field, over mountain passes, crossing rivers, moving between boulders; each step is unlike the previous and the runner will feel the fresh air swoosh around his ears.
The route includes part of the old mountain trail between Hvalvík and Vestmanna. From the route there will be views over the western side of Streymoy with tall cliffs, and over the ocean west of Streymoy and the faraway area in Dølum. The last kilometres to the goal will be run through Saksunardalur, the longest valley in the Faroes.

Registration

You have to be at least 16 years old to participate in this trail run.

The price for registration is 500 DKK per person

If you register before June 15, you will get a NAX MOUNTAIN RUN- T-shirt.

The price also includes:

Race Number and safety pins
Timing
Refreshments at the AID Stations
Shower and changing facilities
Permission from the local farmers to run the trail
Hot soup 

Get your startnumber between 7:00 and 8:00 am on Saturday, 8th of July at the Start line in Hvalvík.

• I confirm that the stated year of birth is correct, and that I can’t give my start number to any other person
• I accept that I do not have the right for a refund, if I’m unable to participate in the race, caused to Force Major.
• My participation in this event is solely my own responsibility, and that no responsibility can be placed with the organiser or the sponsors.
